India is the market that global auto biggies are eyeing. The year 2011 will see many more big car launches happening. Here are the biggest launches coming your way this year.
Tata Prima
The Tata Prima was displayed as concept vehicle at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The luxury sedan has been designed by Pininfarin.
Honda Brio
The Honda Brio is based on the 2CV concept showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo. It was unveiled at the Bangkok Auto Show. The Brio will come with a 1.2 litre engine.
Toyota Liva
The Liva is Toyota's hatchback version of the Etios. The 1200cc Liva is expected to be priced in the Rs 4 lakh bracket.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift
The popular Swift has got a makeover and is expected to start selling in India in 2011. With the new launch Maruti Suzuki will attempt to strengthen its grip over the section in the face of new competition.
Renault Fluence
The Fluence comes in both petrol and diesel versions with two variants for the petrol engines and five in diesel.
Renault Koleos
The 4x4 Koleos is a multi-tasker that comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Fiat Bravo
The all new Fiat Bravo's India launch is expected in mid-2011. The 1910cc is expected to be priced about Rs 18 lakh.
Mahindra Mini Xylo
Mahindra is expected launch a compact version of the Xylo SUV by mid-2011. The vehicle is expected to be priced below Rs 5 lakh and will have a 1.5-litre CRDe engine.
Volvo C70
The Volvo C70 Coupe is expected to make an India appearence in 2011. The car comes in three petrol and two diesel versions. It is powered by a 2435cc engine for the petrol version and 2521 cc for the diesel models.
Maruti Suzuki Kizashi
Maruti Suzuki is finally driving into the luxury D-segment in India with its premium sedan—the Kizashi. The India launch of the Kizashi is expected to happen on February 2, 2011.
