One of the world’s most beautiful women is heading to Auckland to be with Shortland Street's Doctor "TK" Samuels.
Former Miss India Celina Jaitley had teamed up with Kiwi star Ben Mitchell to appear in her first international film, Love Has No Language.
The Bombay Times reported Celina played a beautiful Indian migrant in love with Mitchell in a cross-cultural tale with plenty of romance and comedy shot in New Zealand.
“I’m riding high on Golmaal Returns, but I’m nervous about Love Has No Language,” Celina told the newspaper.
She is also excited to be coming to New Zealand.
“I have been to international shores as I was a runner-up in the Miss Universe beauty pageant and now it’s a big responsibility to move internationally into films as well,” Celina said.
The actress isn’t worried about getting stereotyped as the ‘Indian’ girl in any more crossover films.
"I’m not just a desi girl in this film," she said.
"The way they have portrayed me, I could be a girl from any country."
