Priyamani (Malayalam: പ്രിയാമണി,Tamil: பிரியமணி, born on June 4, 1984 at Palakkad, Kerala, India She won the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actress for her successful role "Muthazaghu" in film Paruthiveeran. She started her career with the film Kangalal Kaithu Sei, which was a flop at the box-office. Afterwards, she was paired with Dhanush in Balu 
Mahendra's Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam, which flopped at the box-office as well. She is one of the few actresses who star in both critically acclaimed and commercial movies. After several hits such as Yamadonga, Malaikottai, Paruthi Veeran and Thirakkatha, she has successfully established herself as a promising young actress of the South Indian film industry.
Priyamani is satisfying everyone with her acting talent in Tollywood and is hoping to please younger generation as well as older generation in parallel. It is a fact that she is being paired opposite to Nandhamuri Balakrishna in two films. One film is being directed by Mahadev, who is making his debut as a director and another film is being directed by N. Shanker which is a film produced by Actress Priyamani.
